~May Audiobook TBR~

Seriously. Libby has been a lifesaver. On long car rides, chores, laundry day, long walks…that is when I listen to audiobooks and I fly through them! I have been trying to cut back on purchasing new books unless it is one that I know I will reread again and again. I have been utilizing my library more and more, as well as my kindle and used book stores. So instead of a book haul every month, I will be showcasing my Audiobook TBR or my Library Haul.

This month has been an amazing month so far for audiobooks. I decided on: Pushout, The Only Good Indians, The Sanatorium, and Wolf Hall.

Pushout by Monique W. Morris is a nonfiction book on the education system and how it is failing Black Girls across the country. I posted my review last week. But it was an eye-opening read to be sure and I highly recommend it for educators! 5 out of 5 stars!

I am currently listening to The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones and oh my god. This book is graphic and terrifying. I still have a few hours left but I can’t listen to it at night.

The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse is everywhere on Bookstagram and it has very mixed reviews. The plot does intrigue me so I definitely want to find out for myself.

As always, I have to add historical fiction somewhere in the mix, so Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel it is! This series is highly recommended about the court of Henry the VIII. I find this period is written about a lot but the reviews seem promising!

See any that you have read before? What do you think?
